Hosts!

The Rev. Donald Sackett

- QCAR
- For All the Saints
- From the Lion's Mouth

Father Don is a graduate of Nashotah House Theological Seminary, and is the Vicar of St. Mark's Anglican Church in Silvis, Illinois.

"I've felt called to the ministry since I was in my 20's, but I had no idea how God would make it possible. In 2003, God opened the door for me to enter the priesthood, and I became a postulant in the Anglican Church," he said. "In 2006, our family relocated to Wisconsin so I could attend seminary."

"I was ordained to the priesthood in 2009, and feel blessed to serve the church in that capacity," Fr. Sackett says. "The most exciting part of my calling is to see God working in people's lives. Jesus Christ is miraculous. He is a powerful, transforming force in the lives of those who believe in Him.

"I greatly enjoy the relationships I share with the people of the parish and with the community," he said. "I am blessed to be a part of their lives -- the hard times and the good times, to be able to pray with them, encourage them and to remind them that Christ is present with them always."

Mrs. Shelly Janikowski

- Thy Table in Our Hearts

Shelly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, holding separate Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education and Computer Science.  She works in acquisitions at the Palmer College Library in Davenport, Iowa, and has worked in Libraries of higher education for the past twelve years.  She teaches Sunday School at Trinity Anglican Church in Rock Island, Illinois, and joins her husband in their ministry in the Quad Cities.

Mrs. Paulette Sackett

- Walking Out Our Faith

Paulette is a Minnesota farm girl who went off to college and then just kept going. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and then worked in healthcare communications in Nebraska, Maryland, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Illinois, and currently in Iowa.

Still a farm girl at heart, she enjoys the outdoors as much as possible, tries to bake as well as her mother, and even dabbles in canning and preserves. She also hopes to build a chicken coop in her backyard, wishes she could raise her own beef, and wonders what it would be like to keep bees for the glory of God.  Paulette is mother to four awesome children, wife to one passionate Anglican priest, and a grateful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Just like a good Minnesota hotdish, she mixes it all together into one very blessed life.

The Rev. Eric Vowles, SSC
Father Vowles was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a passionate fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. He and his wife Sarah have been married for 16 years and have two daughters, Kaylee and Caitlyn.  Kaylee is with the Lord, and Caitlyn is 2 years old.

Father Vowles was ordained a Deacon in 2007 and a Priest in 2008 in the Reformed Episcopal Church.  He graduated with honors from the Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.  He is a lover of liturgy, Church music, Scripture, Church history, and a devoted and uncompromising believer in Orthodox and Catholic Anglicanism. He is committed to the faithful teaching of the Apostles' Doctrine, discipleship, evangelism, and our ancient worship. He tries to teach with passion and conviction "the faith once delivered to the saints", and strives to "equip the saints for the work of ministry."

Father Vowles has been the Rector of All Saints Anglican Church in Weatherford, Texas, in the Diocese of Fort Worth, since 2013.

An acolyte at St. Mark's in Silvis, you can find Erik serving as many masses as he can fit into his work schedule at a Hotel & Casino in Rock Island. If you see someone in Geneseo with a cigar in his left hand, and a coke in his right, its bound to be Erik Palm!
